Fraudulent AIA Phishing Emails/SMSs Leading to Fraudulent Website
2025-04-03

Defrauding Tricks

Recently, it has come to the police’s attention that criminals have sent fraudulent emails and SMSs with malicious links, purporting to be from “AIA Hong Kong & Macau”, to members of the public. They directed the recipients to a fraudulent website (hxxps://ala-hk[.]site/) which falsely claimed to be AIA’s corporate website and induced the recipients to provide their personal information and bank account details.

AIA has emphasised that the emails and website are not owned, operated, or endorsed by AIA Hong Kong & Macau.
