Parcel Self-pickup Notifications to be Sent via SFHK APP Starting 14 April (No More SMSs!)
2025-03-14

Together We Fight Against Scams
Earlier, some criminals were arrested by the police for sending phishing SMSs under the name of “#SFExpress” with illegal radio devices. In response to this new type of scam, the Anti-Deception Coordination Centre and S.F. Express (Hong Kong) Limited (SFHK) has collaborated again to launch an anti-scam publicity campaign.
Pick-up Notifications to be Sent via “SFHK APP”
Starting from 14 April 2025, all parcel self-pickup notifications will be sent via “SFHK APP”, the official mobile application of SFHK.
Customers can check the latest status of their parcels, including waybill numbers, delivery routes, sender and recipient details, and payment information, at any time on “SFHK APP”.
SFHK appeals to its customers to download and register the mobile application as soon as possible, and to enable push notifications in order to receive parcel arrival notifications, as well as to access other value-added services.
Be Cautious of Fraudulent Messages
Always Verify Through Official Platforms
SFHK reiterated that it would never ask customers to make payments by clicking on hyperlinks and reminded the public to remain vigilant when conducting online transactions.
Our Advice
Members of the public are advised to edit delivery information on “SFHK APP”. If in doubt, please call the hotlines at (852) 2730 0273 or (853) 2873 7373 for enquiries;
Even if strangers who send you messages are able to tell your personal information, it does not necessarily mean that they are genuine staff. Scammers can obtain the personal information of the public by unlawful means;
Do not believe the scammers’ identities simply by the phone numbers they provide. You are advised to verify their identities by making enquiries to relevant organisations;
Do not log on to any suspicious websites or download any attachments by hastily clicking on hyperlinks embedded in emails, SMSs or web pages;
You may enter suspicious information on “Scameter” of CyberDefender or “Scameter+”, the mobile application of “Scameter”, for security check in addition to seeking verification from relevant organisations;
If in doubt, please call the “Anti-Scam Helpline 18222” for assistance.
