2025-03-07

Defrauding Tricks

MTR Corporation (Shenzhen) Limited (MTR (Shenzhen)) has received a number of public reports that some criminals, posing as its staff members over the phone, falsely claimed that members of the public had committed unlawful acts and were subject to penalties, and asked them to contact designated “police officers” (scammers as well) to pay fines.

MTR (Shenzhen) reiterated that it would not allege members of the public by phone that they were involved in unlawful acts or require them to face penalties. MTR (Shenzhen) will publish notices related to its operations (if any) via channels including its website, Weibo and WeChat official account).
