2023-12-19

Defrauding Tricks

Recently, scammers randomly sent phishing emails, purporting to be from the Hong Kong Tourism Board, with the address Hello Hong Kong <hellohk@hongkongtourismboard[.]net> to members of the public. They claimed that the recipients had won a round-trip air ticket to Tokyo in a lucky draw and asked them to reply to the email with their personal information (name, date of birth and mobile phone number) to collect the prize.
